Improve body awareness

The inward focus and use of breath will down-regulate the nervous system. This, in turn, will take you out of fight-or-flight mode, lower cortisol, and decrease stress over time. You will sleep like a baby.

Reduce shoulder and neck pain

Breathing muscles are responsible for our strong and aligned body. Educating yourself on breathing means getting rid of neck and shoulder stiffness, a little belly below the navel, depressed chest.

Better blood circulation

Massaging and improving the blood and lymph circulation through breathing you will experience better digestive and excretory functions, which quite often leads to weight loss and a better-shaped healthy body.

What to expect in Class

Controlled movements under careful guidance

Each class aims to instil healthy breathing patterns that will support you throughout your daily activities. Starting with exercises that are focused on proprioception – body awareness. We put our attention inward and focus on the sensations in the body which in turn heightens awareness of comfort or pain, emotions, and your surrounding environment.

With enhanced proprioception, the body is better equipped to respond to stimuli, which can prevent injuries and falls.

Using the correct breathing techniques, we then stretch and strengthen the body by performing a set of mild exercises. This low-impact activity will help to down-regulate the nervous system, taking you out of the fight-or-flight mode, lowering cortisol levels, decreasing stress over time and improving postural alignment.

For each new member, we conduct a full body assessment to determine the imbalances, mobility issues and find the ultimate cause of body pain and mental issues.

This process allows us to understand the client’s needs and find the best approach to structure a program that generates positive results.
